About the Artist

Gillian Haywood

Gillian has been practicing and developing as an artist, since graduating from the University of Salford, in 2004, with a degree in Visual Arts and Culture. Gillian’s work, is a personal response to not only her personal environment, but also is a reflection of the places she has visited around the world. This makes her work eclectic and covers different subject matters, including, land and city scape, figure painting and drawing, still life and abstract. Currently she is interested in landscape painting in oils, ranging from traditional to semi abstract images.
