About the Artist

“I live in the South Pennines and paint the landscape around my home, with excursions into the Yorkshire Dales and Derbyshire. I try to paint the effects of light and weather, particularly on the moorland, especially the changes in colour and atmosphere. Skies are for me an endlessly changing landscape. However, often I paint the same place, it will always be different and new.”
