About the Artist

Growing up surrounded by the Pennines, I developed a deep connection with the countryside and nature. I’m fascinated with the northern landscape, from rugged hills to its industrial past, contorted trees and deep undergrowth to windswept moorlands. The atmospheric colours, shapes and textures found in the landscape provide constant inspiration.

Kevin studied at Oldham College and Batley School of Art before graduating from Huddersfield University. His artwork is in public and private collections and regularly exhibits across the region, including Gallery Oldham, Huddersfield Art Gallery and Enjoy Art Gallery. When not wandering the moors you can find Kevin painting from his studio located on the high-street in Marsden, a picturesque village in the Colne Valley.
