About the Artist

I live in Delph and I love painting people going about their everyday lives and capturing ‘the moment’. I use the medium of watercolour. I love the way watercolour reacts on the paper and try to capture colour and vibrancy where possible. I also use acrylics and graphite pencils.

I studied art at school and have always meant to continue to pursue my passion but did not pick up a brush for a few years as ‘life’ got in the way. I picked up the brushes again a few years ago and I try to paint when I can around my full-time job. I have attended local art classes and professional artist workshops but I am mainly self-taught.
