Journeés de Peinture
Members of the SGA hosted an international group of painters in Saddleworth from Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July 2023. We worked alongside artists from the USA, Switzerland and France. We painted ‘en plein air’ during the day and hung our work in Uppermill Art Gallery in the evening. On Friday the whole exhibition was opened to the public. Evening events included a BBQ, a folk night, a ceilidh and meals in local pubs. This event takes place each year in different participating countries. For more information contact Helen.

Our 2021 Winter Exhibition – Art Actually!
Ran from 20th November to 15th January at Saddleworth Museum and sold 9 artworks
The 2022 Summer Exhibition was titled “A Summer Showcase” running from 11th June to 10th July
The 2022 Winter Exhibition was called “All Paintings Great and Small” and ran from 3rd December 2022 to 14th January 2023
Summer 2023 Exhibition held from 15th July to 6th August at Saddleworth Museum
“Points of View” a prestigious exhibition with a linked programme of events was held at Gallery Oldham from 16 September to 2nd December 2023
