From the Manchester High School of Art to the Manchester Regional College of Art through twenty years in publishing as studio head for the Cheshire Life, Lancashire Life and Yorkshire Life magazine group to eventually in 1986 creating Artbox, my design and illustration studio and now devoting my creative energies into painting and photography.

The statue was created in 1907 by John Cassidy 1860 – 1939 and was originally placed in Piccadilly Gardens. It depicts a family clinging to a liferaft in stormy seas and is now outside the Central Library opposite the Midland Hotel.
